Ready to take a ride on the wild side? The 3rd Continental Light Dragoons, Captain William Parsons Troop, is a cavalry unit that is affiliated with the 2nd SC Regiment. In addition to their 3LD impression, they also portray South Carolina State cavalry, and even British Legion cavalry (if  you twist their arms).
The 2nd SC and the 3LD generally share camps, kitchens and food at events. A few members participate in both units, depending on the need for a particular event. Members of the 3LD are considered members in full-standing of the 2nd SC for insurance, tax and procedural matters.
For more information on this prestigious unit, visit their website at http://www.schistory.net/3CLD/index.html.
